Adine Boniol Bordelon

A Mass of Christian Burial for Adine Boniol Bordelon will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son with Rev. Dan O'Connor and Rev. Craig Scott officiating and Pastor Anthony Mangun participating.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Adine Boniol Bordelon, age 75, of Alexandria, passed away March 31, 2013 in her residence.
She graduated from Bolton High School in 1955, where she excelled in basketball. Mrs. Bordelon was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor where she served on the Altar Society and also a member of Catholic Daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harvey Bordelon; her parents, Jules and Noemie Boniol; and one brother, Eugene Boniol.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Jimmy Bordelon and his wife, Sandra of Alexandria; Michael Bordelon of Alexandria; Patrick Bordelon and his wife, Donna of Atlanta, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Mark Bordelon, Paige Cross, Christopher Bordelon, Jeffrey Bordelon, Morgan Bordelon, Patrick Bordelon, Jr., John Bordelon; three great grandchildren; and four siblings, Domelise Lemoine, Bertha Gremillion, Judy Bordelon and Steve Boniol.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bordelon, Chris Bordelon, Jeffrey Bordelon, Patrick Bordelon, Jr., John Bordelon and Matt Cross. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paige Cross and Morgan Bordelon.
The family request memorials be sent to Manna House, 2655 Lee St., Alexandria, LA 71301.
