Margarette "Rita" Wilmore Gremillion

Services for Margarette "Rita" Wilmore Gremillion will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Twin Bridges Baptist Church, with Rev. Brent Dix officiating.
Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at the funeral home; and again on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Margarette "Rita" Wilmore Gremillion, age 85 , of Alexandria, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 06, 2013, in Grace Home, after a lengthy illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Ira Wilmore Sr. and Jewel Rayford Wilmore; her loving husband of 56 years Charles B. "Booney" Gremillion Jr; two sisters Averil Joy Carlton, Patsy Ann Frederic; one brother Thomas Ira Wilmore Jr.; and one great grandson Ethan Raynor.

Mrs Gremillion's life is a testimony to the healing power of God's love, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, the wise counsel of the Holy Spirit, and the importance of family.

Those left to cherish her memories include her brother Johnnie "Bubba" Wilmore and his wife Mildred of Urania, her eight children: Mark Gremillion and wife Kelly of Alexandria, Gary Gremillion of Prairieville, Adrienne Gremillion of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Iris Smith of Alexandria, Paul Gremillion of Cook, Minnesota, Stephanie Powers and husband Mike of Woodworth, Margaret Sandifer and husband Chuck of Alexandria, Cara Smudricks and husband Cliff of Madison Mississippi ; eighteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Barrett Dezendorf, Stephen Gremillion, Matthew Dezendorf, Joseph Dezendorf, Clint Powers, Caleb Powers, Matthew Sandifer and Benjamin Gremillion.

Memorials may be made to the CHRISTUS Grace Home Hospice Care @ 3330 Masonic Drive, 3rd Floor Inpatient Hospice Alexandria, LA 71301, or to a charity of your choice.
