Sybil Marie "Nannie" Neucere Daw

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sybil Marie Neucere Daw will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, in St. Rita Catholic Church, with Rev. Rickey Gremillion officiating. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son.
Visitation will be held starting at 10 a.m. Monday prior to the service at St. Rita Catholic Church.
Sybil Marie Neucere Daw, 87, of Alexandria, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2013 in CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
She was born and raised in Avoyelles Parish as the daughter to Leo and Alice Bordelon Neucere, later marrying her "sweetheart", William Daw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 68 years, "Bill"; one daughter, Susan Ann Daw Burrows; younger sister, Oceana Ann Neucere Miller Doering; and her special son-in-law, Wayne Vallery with whom she shared many delicious cups of coffee while solving the world's situations.
Those left to cherish her memory include: one daughter, Bertha Vallery of Boyce; three grandchildren, Michael Wayne Vallery, David Layne Vallery and Stacy Burrows Loose; son-in-law, Randy L. Burrows; "Nannie" will be greatly missed by her precious great grandchildren, which were her pride and joy: Chase, Haley, Gage and Gavin Vallery, Mikey Loose and Robert DeSoto. She leaves behind six sisters-in law and her very special friend of 66 years, Ida Daigrepont and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her new friends at the Lexington House.
