Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia B. Mann will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son with Rev. Dan O'Connor officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Virginia B. Mann, age 93, of Alexandria passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Marigold House.
She is preceded in death by her husband William F. Mann, Jr. and one sister, Gloria Anderson.

Virginia was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. She was a member of the Forestry Association Wives, P.E.O. Sisterhood and served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. Virginia was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her daughters Linda Mann Loewy and husband Richard of Natick, MA and Carol Mann Smith and husband Edward of Woodworth; her grandchildren Amanda Kate Loewy of Natick, MA and Zachary Mann Smith of Woodworth; one brother Andrew Biache of Alexandria, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to: her long-term caregiver, Crystal Franklin; Compassionate Care Hospice and Marigold House.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
